AP Info Arts Pvt. Ltd, Rourkela inviting application from the candidates for the following positions to be based at Rourkela, Odisha.

Educational Qualification : Must be a post graduate in Odia langauge with a passion for Odia Language and Literature.

Working Experience : Must have 7-10 years of experience with following role and responsibilities

• Set editorial direction and pace for the team.
• Regularly collect/contribute stories for online ( and print distribution in future ).
• Manage any freelancers, as needed.
• Manage all editorial submissions within applicable deadlines
• Revise print and online articles, write headlines and captions, and review page proofs, in conjunction with the copy editor
• Ensure all coverage is timely and relevant to readers
• Plan the artwork, illustrations, and photos that go with each online and print story
• Work closely with the art and production departments to prepare and approve page layouts that carry out the magazine’s visual or graphic style
• Provide strong and positive leadership to the publication’s editorial team
• Travel to various events is required.

• Srong command over Odia language with grammar
• Must have a great heart and passion for working on Odia Sahitya, Music and Odia culture related work

Salary : Dependig on experience with additional benefits with house rent allowances for out of station candidates.

Educational Qualification : Must be a graduate and should have preferrably completed schooling from Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. Fluency in reading, speaking and writing Odia is a must.

Skillsets : Must have very goods hands on PHP 5.1 and above, MySql 4.1 and above, HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery. Opensource projects like wordpress, OSCommerce.

Working Experience : Must have 3-5 years of experience with following kind of work

• Must have developed couple of database oriented websites using MySql and PHP
• Must have worked on developing and managing various Wordpress CMS based custom themes and plugins
• Must have built e-commerce related application using OSCommerce and customization with its contributions. Must have good working experience of Vbulletin in customizing, managing the application etc.
• Must be good in HTML/XHTML/CSS and Javascript with client side validations.

Salary : Rs. 18,000 – 25,000 per month dependig on experience with additional benefits.

Educational Qualification : Must be a graduate on any discipline and should have preferrably completed schooling from Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. Fluency in reading, speaking and writing Odia is a must.

Skillsets : Must have a very good typing speed on computer ( 40-60 wpm on English ). If you have used any Odia Softwares such as Shreelipi, Akruti, I-Leap or Aprant keyaboard layouts, that is preferrable ( but not necessary ).

Working Experience : Must have 1-2 years of experience in DTP.

Salary : Rs. 5,000 – 7,000 per month dependig on experience with additional benefits.

Educational Qualification : Must be a graduate and must be an Odia who keeps interest in writing and some interest in journalism as hobby. Must be good in Odia and optionally in English. Must be living in NIT, Rourkela campus.

Requirement : Depending on the frequency of activities or various happenings, it is expected that, the said person will provide 1-2 news/article in a week of the following types but not limited to

• Important Events and NIT’s various campus activities
• Promoting Students and Teachers
• Genuine/major grievence , issues and complaints by Students or Teachers.
• Important Annoucements/Notice, events and article etc.
• Exam & Exam Results including the achivements by students
• Important Entrance/Competitive Exams Announcements

Remuneration : Rs. 1,500 – 2,000 per month ( token of appreciation)
