Well as per the demand made for IIM at SBP it is absolutely baseless.First because SBP is getting a worldclass management college in the form of Xavier's .So logically if IIM comes to Orissa Rourkela has the best chance and the most preferred destination to have a college of international repute.I dont blame the politicians because they are doing there job just to grab some votes.But its actually the center which will decide.Till now there is no such plans to introduce a new set of IIM but in case its been initiated we the people of Rourkela will act accordingly and will further go one step ahead to get the IIM at Rourkela.All our representatives will have a major role but as of now the ESIC,Railway division under East Coast railway and airport are the major concern.

Now time has come to create a revolution in Rourkela and sundergarh citizens.
It is our resposible to give a alert to MP Hemananda Biswal . Do works for our peoples or give registration from his seat. Please collect more and more emails from Rourkela peoples. and give message to all email id holders. just filled RTI and asked our govt. servents what they are plan for this location ? Fillup RTI

Either you are saying far away from Rourkela or staying in Rourkela . But always fighting for Rourkela development . Now come and start to fillup Rti form ? Create a Rourkela development club . every member of this club give some donation . This club only monitoring the development works in Rourkela. if club will find some neglected from Govt. towards Rkl then club has power to file PIL . Again I will requested to Prashant sir Pls give suggestion on this. Mr . Mahender sir is better option for head of this club . please give suggestion all the members and nonmembers of this forum. Come and developed our city in our hand .

We should have a separate Rourkela Constituency (Unreserved) for Lok Sabha

which should consist the entire east Sundargarh and some parts of Keonjhar district


In Ganjam we have two parliamentary constituencies i.e. Aska and Berhampur and hence it has always remained a "focus region" for the state government

Although the population of Ganjam is near about twice that of Sundargarh still owing to the economic potential and for the development of the region Rourkela constituency is needed
