Finally ESIC State Regional Board recommended Center for ESIC Medical College at Rourkela.

it was all pre-planed by the Govt./bureaocracy to set up IIT / other national institutions and resarch centres there in Bbsr. The state government’s argument that the proposed site should be near an airport is only to divert the mind of the people
why only Orissa government is giving the reason of airport for ESIC BBSR,IIT BHUBANESWAR location.??? Also, Why the state Govt. is not developing any other Air port in any part of Orissa. 4 ex>>Sbp-Jsg--Rkl belt , Why Govt. is not promoting Air connectivity????we knw d answer\intension is very clear..... About air connectivity , Jaipur, Jharsuguda and Rourkela must be considered. Out of these three Jharsuguda is already fortunate to get a full fledged one. Click the posting I made today about it http://www.rourkelacity.com/rdf/show...?p=578#post578 Lets pro-actively work for this and Rourkela as well. Rourkela has been deprived of because of its own citizens. No one will come up to stand for Rourkela. It is the RKLites who has to decide their fortune. That will only happen when everybody be united and voice and work for the development. Only voicing may not work though. By the way this is ESIC M&H thread. So please post in the right forum with a separate thread for airport.

This is a great news...we need same kind of reaction on other developments.Lets ignite the fire and i am sure all concerns regarding the development of Rourkela city as well the neighbouring areas will develop in no time.
At this point the focus should be on the ESIC and once this is achieved we can focus the below list.Please let me know for any correction. Air connectivity BPUT Railway division (under East Coast or South eastern) SAIL MCH IIM Rail coach Factory at Bondamunda High Court Bench and last but not the least declare some unused land in or around RKL as SEZ.
