Thumbs up Response from RKLites on Carelessness of ESIC Issue and Decision.

Here is what I have received today about ESIC issue in response to the following news published in few news papers yesterday.

Click to enlarge the attachments from Sambad, The Samaja and Dharitri News Paper.

The irresponsible and careless statement given yesterday by ESIC, BBSR authority is unwarranted and worthless. I am glad that the PALATA JABABA from citizens of Rourkela is commendable and I appreciate everyone's effort in this direction.

Please write emails and make phone calls to this office to let them know about your grievence over the ongoing cheap GAME on this issue. Please let them know you strongly object and oppose their activities on this issue and extremely unhappy over it. Rourkela is the desired candidate to host ESIC Medical College and Hospital and it should come there only.

The below mail was sent to the director to re consider the decision for setting up the ESIC at Rourkela.

Dear Sir/Mam,

Its gives me complete disappointment when i get to know that experts sitting at the highest level ignore or avoid the facts that are completly in support of the needy and helpless.I dont know how seriously this letter of mine will taken into consideration but its a humble request that you consider the dcision once again for setting up ESIC at Rourkela rather than BBSR.There are n number of medical colleges coming to BBSR both private and govt. The AIIMS will be functional in a year or two.So do you think its justified to setup the ESIC medical college at BBSR when the highest number of ESIC insured people are residing at RKL region.I also want to bring it to your notice that most of the insured people are the needy ones who cant even afford to travel all the way to BBSR.We are still under poverty and the govt claims that it first considers the needy. So how come this initiative of state govt was ignored for the poor.I request you again to consider my plea so that the decision is taken in interest of general public.

Regards

Good job Alok. Keep it up. Few of us recieved acknowledgement on the email sent. If possible make a call to them and just ask them to register your grievence in their department . An one line statement on the phone is very much effective. Keep Rourkela highlighted when you call them.

The 1500 crore super speciality hospital offered by an US firm Euthenic Group Consortium may also go to BBSR region (no big surprise). Thanks again to our capital centric state govt. The deal will require 100 acres of land. The MOU is yet to be signed.

One has less control over private investment, they will go there where they see the benefits. Please remember that US based health care system is purely based on business and profit based approach.

We should not be worried about this kind of investment, rather we should be worried about to have resources directly from state or center such as ESIC or a state medical college. On the other hand signing an MOU is not a big deal until it is made successful. At the sametime, we need to be more concerned and focus about Rourkela's development depending on our needs and opportunities instead of discussing about Bhubaneshwar.

Dilip has drawn a list of action plan for this year. Lets make it a success . See below.

Angry Politican Game over ESIC Medical College

Politican Game over ESIC between Local BJD and Congress. However both have agreed and demanded ESIC must be in Rourkela though BJD has been maintaining a low profle and less vocal about it. Click below to have enlarged view.

>>state govt is again playing dirty politics with Rourkelawasi ..
It seems everybody wants in Rourkela but the problem is in LAND ALLOCATION

1/now i believed all the decision has been taken by some of our kujineta and state govt to not to setup this college at rourkela

.2/actually the thing is that . The decision of esic medical college at bbsr taken by Our govt/ cm and some of our bhubaneswar based rajneta.so our local MLA has not opened their mouth against this decision because he is also from bjd

3/ everybody wants it in Rourkela region ,including esic authority, esic director ,orissawasi,MPs from delhi but as u know the CAPITAL CENTRIC MANOBHABA of our stategovt, For them Odisha is BBSR and vice-versa.

4/the main point of the problem is allocating the land ,and that is our state govts duty to give 25 acres land to esic, but as per the above point number (3)>>they are giving the land in the bbsr region by ignoring the demand @ rourkela.

Thumbs up

Here is the report on today's convention at Rourkela demanding ESIC Medical College and Hospital at Rourkela

http://www.rourkelacity.com/top-news...l-at-rourkela/

Followings are my comments :

1. This is the first time RKLites came forward for such a genine demand for Medical College, Higher Education releated issue.

2. This is a good move by everybody particularly the organizers and civil society of Rourkela who participated whole heartedly.

3. It is unfortunate and pesonally I feel it is digusting after learning that the ruling party BJD MLAs particularly Sharada Nayak didn't attend nor bother this as his responsibility and moral duty. Is he elected for taking care of Road repairing , setting up Tubewells etc. ? Can anybody let me know what is his major contribution to Rourkela's development which is indeed visible ? I wonder how come Rourkela people are tolerating such kind of leadership. He perhaps forgets ESIC is about 600 Cr investment, and I doubt in his political career he even bagged even 50 Cr. of investment to Rourkela in the field of Health Care or Higher Education. It is indeed shame for Rourkealites and their elected representative. It is high time that he understands ESIC medical college is the need of Rourkela.

Kudos to the attendants, organizers and all the people who have made this agitation in a peaceful maner in a Grand way. We now have to wait for 25th Feb for the program at New Delhi.

Apart from the above , many Hindi News Media has also covered this news. Kanak TV and other TV news channel have also broadcasted this news in detail. Infact even BJP came forward to support this cause for the first time. I liked the way political party members coming forward with their support independent of their party affiliations giving priority of development of Rourkela and People .
