Sir I apolozise for the kind of lingo I was using. I asure u it wont happen.
Regarding to your idea of having schools runned by Govt. Well, the Govt. of Orissa is one of the most debted goverments of India. Presently, it doesnt have enough cash to pay its teachers and lecturers. It takes 3-4 months for a teacher to get his/her due and that too would be of one month only. How do you expect then that the teacher would give good teaching to students ?
90% of Orissa's schools are govt. but what is the rate of dropouts in these schools? what is the literacy rate of students below the age of 14 in areas where there are more number of goverenment schools? In Orissa either the private or the PPP model succeeds not the goverment model.
Take an example, Rourkela has the highest literacy rate in Orissa (81% quoting reference.com findings) and how many government schools are there in Rourkela? How many students study in these govt. schools in Rourkela?
Rourkela is totally different from other cities of Orissa because in Rourkela the PPP model succeeds.

@Siddhant,

We are not saying IGH need to be absolutely converted to Medical College ( but SAIL has to build a medical college ). For any medical college there needs to be a hospital attached. What we are saying is attaching a Medical College unit to existing IGH. That way both runs either individually or combinedly .

By the way, it is the SAIL's policy how to do it and evaluate that after considering their internal matters which I think we shouldn't discuss about. That is none of our job.

Regarding the Govt's school issues, there are many. And who told you the teachers are not being paid ? That day has already gone.

The issues are at teachers level, Govt. level and of course parents level too. It is a separate subject to be discussed that is applicable to the whole state not just Rourkela.

This forum is not only for Rourkela city but also for Greater Rourkela area which includes rural areas as well ( to some extent whole Sundargarh district)

Over the ages, it has been demanded by various labour unions for the upgradation of IGH into a Medical College and Hospital. Many educationists have also urged, both the Centre and State on the issue of upgrading IGH into MCH. Both BJD and Congress have taken up the issue with RSP administration. The State Government has proposed the Centre to upgrade this hospital into a Medical College and Hospital. All are positive on this issue and it will get to work soon,

If foreign collaboration really matters ,then SAIL can put up an exclusive medical college in Rourkela, not interfering with IGH. The branch og IGH in Sector-22(Fertilizer Township) can be upgraded. With the upcoming Cement factory in the premises of old fertilizer plant, the illegal colonies of South Rourkela are all set to go and at least one new sector will be established there. The rest of the land can be utilised for a medical college and hospital by SAIL.

We are not worried about how that medical college utilize/use IGH either attached or detached. That is SAILs management decision.

I think you all have BPUT's contact Numbers. So please call them directly and find out the fact. There is no point in speculating things which we are not sure about.

Now this is the limit

Bureaucrats based in Bhubaneswar are not releasing even a single paisa for the construction of BPUT at Rourkela. They want to forcibly keep it in Bhubaneswar.
What should be done now? 99.999999999999999% Rourkelites will accept it readily im sure.
