PRATIBHA 2010 held at Rourkela

Rourkela: A national level seminar ‘Pratibha 2010’ held under the auspices of Padmanav College of Engineering (PCE), Rourkela on 13 March, 2010. In the day long session 34 papers were presented by the participants in the field of Search Engine Optimisation, Recent Works in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Information System in five sub-themes. Out of 34 papers 25 were of Rourkela students, 4 from other part of Odisha and 5 from other states. In each sub-theme of the subject best and second best paper presenters were awarded in the end of the seminar. In the occasion while Prof. G.K.Ray, Deptt. of Chemical Engg. , NIT, Rourkela grace the as Chief Guest, Ramprasad Pattnaik, Principal, Infosys Education & Research, Bhubaneswar and M.S.N.Bhusan, Lead, Infosys Education & Research, Bangalore gave the keynote address. The other dignitaries Prof. B.K.Panigrahi, Principal, Prof. S.B.Prusty, HOD, CSE Deptt. PCE and Organising Secretary Prof. S,Kumar were on dais.

Prof. Ray expressing his concern told that as in India there is lack of inspiration in Research field the scholars are migrating to other countries for the purpose. So this type of activities will definitely extend inspiration to them. He also thanked the organizers for holding such a nice seminar. A proceeding of the total papers was released on this occasion by the chief guest.
